Dieter Reith &the SWR orchestra《Tonight's The Night》

Dieter Reith生於1938年,
是德國爵士樂鋼琴家,
曾研究電子樂低頻音效工程,
因此他的作品較為重視『效果』。

除了以自己名字出過一些爵士樂唱片,
他亦曾是德國 SWR 大樂隊的指揮。
這位大師所演繹的爵士樂在當時來說較為前衛,
由於在電子樂音色方面有他個人的風格,
所以在德國頗負盛名。
《Knock Out》是DieterReith的一首代表作,
在後半段充斥了電子樂即興的味道,

無疑地,鄙人認為以他個人的名字,
所出的爵士樂唱片都偏向於曲高和寡,
鄙人亦不會喜愛那種格調。
相反地,一旦指揮管弦樂團,
他卻是表現得可與國際級(Easy Listening)名師一較長短,
當他與SWR大樂隊合作時,
(South West German Radio Kaiserslautern Orchestra)
簡直令人喜出望外。
